Study Area

The field word was carried out between February and April 2006 in the general area around Askham (Northern Cape, South Africa; latitude 26°57´ S, longitude 20°49´ E). The figure shows a more detailed view of the locations. In 2006 the precipitation was high with over 400 mm.
